Cyclic (60 x 60 cm) Cycl​ic depicts a lone surfer walking along the shoreline carrying a surfboard, framed against a luminous turquoise sea and an expansive sky layered with pink, coral, violet, and gold. The scene exists in that fleeting space between day and night, where colours blur and the horizon seems almost endless. The solitary figure creates a sense of quiet anticipation. Rather than riding a wave, the surfer is in a transitional moment—either returning from the water or preparing to enter it. The surfboard becomes a symbol of readiness, adventure, and the recurring call of the sea. This moment of pause reflects the cyclical nature of both surfing and life itself: preparation, action, reflection, and return. Expressive brushstrokes and bold colour contrasts evoke the movement of wind, water, and changing light. The cool turquoise of the ocean balances the warmth of the sky, creating an atmosphere that feels both energetic and contemplative. The vast landscape surrounding the figure emphasizes themes of solitude, freedom, and connection with the natural world. Through its vibrant palette and minimalist composition, Cycl​ic explores renewal, rhythm, and the enduring relationship between people and the sea. The surfer’s journey mirrors the cycles we all experience—moments of challenge, calm, departure, and return—each leading us back to the horizon once again. My paintings are expressions of thoughts, dreams, hopes, trauma, and personal reflection. They invite the viewer to pause, to feel, and to connect with their own emotional journey. Spanish Vineyard - This is a landscape of the Murcian countryside, the rows of grape vines created beautiful straight lines across the terracota coloured soil, cutting the deep oranges with the vibrant green of their leaves. In the distance you can just make out the Sierra de pilar. I absolutely adore this view and the surrounding landscape.
